The Lead Carpenter will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of carpentry on-site, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards. You will be a hands-on leader, managing and mentoring less experienced carpenters while also handling your own tasks. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable running job sites independently and enjoys problem-solving in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute carpentry work on residential and light commercial construction projects
• Supervise and mentor a team of carpenters and apprentices, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality standards
• Collaborate with the project manager to ensure project milestones are met
• Perform detailed work including framing, installation, and finishing carpentry
• Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors and suppliers
• Maintain a safe and organized job site at all times
• Use Buildertrend software to track hours and upload job site photos
• Assist with material procurement when necessary

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional carpentry experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role
• Strong knowledge of residential and light commercial construction techniques
• Proficiency in a wide range of carpentry tasks, including framing, installation, and finishing
• Ability to manage and lead a team effectively, providing mentorship to less experienced carpenters
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (must be insurable)
• Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing time and resources on-site
• Familiarity with Buildertrend software is a plus, but not required
• A personal set of carpentry tools is preferred.

• Competitive hourly pay: $35 - $45 per hour based on experience
